The application of the hose fitting

Hose fitting is a connecting tool between pipes and a detachable connecting point between components and pipes. It plays an indispensable and important role in pipe fittings. It is one of the two main components of hydraulic pipeline. hose fittings are used for straight-line connection of instruments, and the connection forms include socket welding or threaded connection. It is mainly used for small-diameter low-pressure pipelines, which are often installed and disassembled, or for the final adjustment of threaded pipe fittings. The structural form should be metal surface contact sealing structure. The structural form of gasket sealing is usually used for conveying water, oil, air and other general pipelines, and is made of malleable cast iron. In addition, use requirements and price are also factors to be considered in selection.

There are many kinds of hose fittings. The commonly used hose fittings can be divided into hard hose fittings and hose joints. According to the connection mode of hose fitting and pipeline, there are three types of hard hose fitting: flared type, ferrule type and welded type, and hose joint is mainly buckle rubber hose fitting.

The connection methods of pipes and hose fittings in the hydraulic system are also different. The screw in end of the pipe adopts the connecting thread. Conical thread is mainly used in medium and low pressure hydraulic system by virtue of its own vertebral body tightening and sealing operation with PTFE and other substances. The sealing effect of fine thread is very good. It is often used in high-pressure system, but it needs to use combined washer or O-ring to seal the end face. Sometimes red copper washer is also used. It is more suitable for pipes with thick connecting pipe wall. Its components mainly include joint body, connecting pipe and nut. When in use, the joint body is embedded in the target, and the gasket mentioned above is used to seal the end face. The rubber seal is used between the joint body and the connecting pipe, and sometimes the spherical seal is used.

As the hose fitting is a detachable connecting element, it must meet the requirements of convenient disassembly and assembly in addition to meeting the requirements of stable connection, strong sealing, reasonable size, small pressure loss, good process performance and so on. Therefore, do not underestimate the small hose fittings, because only its existence can support the existence of the whole hydraulic system.
